Recent Reilly Things.. March 7, 2010

No Good stories to re-tell or experiences that will make you laugh.. Just ordinary Reilly Days! So here’s just a quick list of the last week’s updates…

The Gym: I am going consistently and I am LOVING it… I have found that Creepers tend to work out in the AM and the more attractive crowd is in the evening after work.. I will have to adjust my schedule accordingly..

Shopping: Hoarding homey supplies.. Tampons and Tide were on sale this week at Target. When you bought 2 P&G items you got a 5.oo gift card! I was proud of myself, though I made 3 or 4 trips to Target this week – I made wise purchases! Only 3 boxes of Tampons, 2 jugs of  Tide. Bought a new laundry basket, 2 towel sets, and other various NEEDED items.. deodorant, toothbrushes.. etc. Need Vs. Want!

Baking: Weekly when off work I am trying a new baking treat.. “Better than [Insert Here .. something you enjoy but can be topped with an edibley delicious cake!] Here’s the RECIPE I used as a jumping point, because we all know I don’t follow them exactly! I like to “experiment”  … here’s the end result! ——- > Yummy!

Bi-weekly Car washes and mini detail: I have found that I have to wash and vacuum out my car at least every other week. It tends to be pay day weeks I will take my car and clean it up, but I have found lately that I have been cleaning it more frequently now that the weather permits. I am feeling a special “SPRING CLEANING” in April.. I want to shampoo my carpets and get new car mats! Possibly thinking about reading how to treat my leather seats and doing that as well.  I am still unable to re-call what I named my car, because you all know you must name the car to improve performance, gas mileage, and just to keep it personal with your expensive piece of machinery. And in my case I spend most of my time in zipping around town! My first car was Darlene, and my last one was Lexie (RIP :*( I still think about you and MISS you payments and gas mileage!) I am working on a name that fits this jazzy new little friend of mine…

Photography: I am still experimenting with my newer Canon Camera and can’t wait for trip and summertime to come so I can shoot some fun pictures.. .. and then FALL as well is my FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR!

iTunes: I have almost compulsively been downloading movies and music from iTunes which is a change for me.. I am convinced I killed my old laptop with a virus from downloading from LimeWire and I just want this Laptop to last a whole lot longer for me… Though the previous one did serve it’s purpose!

Bonding with Jay: has involved hilarious conversations about life, playing the board game life, watching the office, binging on Meijer fruit snacks, inappropriately immature public poking each others eyes, kicking, and hilarious conversations to get people’s head turning…  I <3 My 9 year old Jamba!
