So my blogging efforts over the last week have reflected how I have been performing in life lately.. LAZILY! I slipped on P90x last week, and I decided that I needed to join a gym and I am going to rotate with P90x. I need a variety or I get bored! So I have been going to a little local gym 1-2 times a day and I feel great getting back into the gym going routine! I forgot how much I LOVE lifting weights! (Thanks Willy for showing me the ropes!)
CREEPER EXPERIENCE OF THE WEEK 1: After working one night I went to the gym before going home to sleep… and this is what happened.. [Never wearing scrubs into the gym, or changing into a nursing related t-shirt and spandex again.. I get on a machine and wouldn't you expect it the guy next to me hit on me? (He was so loud.. the guy at the front desk even laughed at the exchange) Then he proceeded to tell me about how he wanted to be a nurse and how impressed he was that I was an RN... he dropped out after A & P and failed his other classes and is just working for now.. But its ok, he's better at lifting heavy things anyway? He would probably make a better security guard then nurse?... That just happened...]
I have also been slammed with work due to it being our busy season, and helping out a friend. I have been working quite a lot lately… like this week only had Thursday and Friday off! So don’t worry your little heads, you didn’t miss anything in my blogging absence.
So Day OFF 1: Thursday, I was supposed to meet up with Willy so he could do a practice Physical Fitness test for one of his classes.. well I was an idiot, set my alarm for 11pm instead of am and overslept (imagine that) So instead I went to the Gym and Tanning.. home to shower and prep for a dinner date with a friend. We met at The Pub at the Greene (though I don’t drink, I Love their food and the atmosphere is SO FUN!) Enjoyed a great dinner… minus 1 thing… POOP … No I didn’t have to Poop or have any dirty mishaps.. but it was brought up in DINNER conversation… Just because I am an RN and grew up with 3 brothers doesn’t mean I enjoy Poop Dinner conversations… because I DON’T … personally I LOATHE POOP!
[ok Flash back to last November... My sly friend from AZ tried to hook me up on a date with a friend of his from Columbus, I was skeptical at first but agreed. Had a great time with the guy! Really enjoyed his company.. minus... 2 incidents.. He brought Poop up in a PRE DATE TEXTING COVERSATION and then at my house... he pooped and DIDN'T Flush it!... So this was my FIRST encounter with 1st Date Poop Convo...I was NOT pleased!] So Thursday made 2nd “1st Date Poop Convo”.. once again NOT pleased…
After the date, thursday night I ventured shopping to buy something new for WICKED… Von Maur was a bust so ventured to my trusty back up… Target…. Who always comes through for me. I wasn’t having a very productive shopping trip because..
–> OK I CONFESS.. I <3 the movie The Hangover, and I downloaded it from Itunes and put it on my IPOD… so I was walking around Target watching The Hangover laughing and being distracted, so I had to call in back up.. PT! She’s the best! Within 10 mins of her being at Target with my, she whipped me into shape and out of my whiny “I can’t find anything attitude” … We found a zebra print skirt, lime green t-shirt and black cardigan! Impressive! My other plans fell through so I hung at PT and her hubs for a bit and we watched.. you guessed it.. The Hangover..
Day Off 2: Friday- Today I slept in until about 230 because I didn’t get much sleep yesterday.. didn’t have enough time to G&T (I now abbreviate Gym, Tan and Laundry.. GTL..these are some of my everyday events and that is how the abbreviate it on the show Jersey Shore and I Loved it when I heard it.. ) so I was still sore from my intense workouts yesterday, and I decided to skip the G and just T .. just a little R&R before WICKED! Came home, showered, and started up my 3 curling irons.. (That’s right I use 3 curling irons to get my rocking hair..) 
Looks good though doesn’t it? Make up (Check) Outfit (Check) Leaving on time… well I left RIGHT on TIME and mother nature decided to have “blowing wintery mix” and everyone felt 10mph was a comfortable driving speed…I was meeting my date at The Spaghetti Warehouse for dinner in Downtown D Town.. which involves paralleled meter parking and one way streets .. all in all I was about 10 mins late.
Enjoyed a great dinner.. we even got to eat in a trolley, how cool is that? (Didn’t snap any photos though..) except… can you guess? oh yea.. there was an allusion to POOP in the dinner conversation.. REALLY? Don’t get me wrong, I had a great time all in all and LOVED dinner and WICKED but come on.. Guys really, NO POOP conversations the 1st date… or never in some cases. –> So now a new dating criteria.. if a guy talks POOP during date 1… He’s going to have to work really hard to keep me around if he’s interested!
NOW FOR … WICKED –> I LOVED IT! It was my first time seeing a performance at the Schuster and it was well worth the price. We had tickets in the Orchestra right near the sound booth.. And funny thing happened
CREEPER EXPERIENCE OF THE WEEK 2: I stood up to let someone walk past me and the sound booth guys … smile and offered “If you want you can sit up here with me, the seat is better than where you are sitting…” Yes everyone, I really was hit on by a creeper in the sound booth. Just my luck. No I did not sit with him, I sat with my date… though the sound booth was oh so tempting with all those buttons and levers… (Ha!)
Oh YEA! and.. I saw one of former Nursing Instructors from my 1st semester of nursing school. She made a serious impact on my nursing career and it just so happened she was also in Zebra print.. SERIOUSLY! It was meant to be! I <3 her.. and she’s on Facebook! I can’t wait to catch up with her!
Back to Wicked.. I <3′d the story line and fell in love with how it ties up all the loose ends of The Wizard of OZ.. I am totally an ALPHY and my friend PT is a GA-Linda.. it’s perfect! I recommend EVERYONE see it! It’s fabulous! … I am going to Toledo to see it in April! Let me know if you want a ticket and want to tag along!
